Black friday or Corp Greed? Wake up World
Ok this is just my views but are corporations still so greedy that people can’t see this…Its the day after thanksgiving and While I looked thru all the black friday ad’s which were in yesterday’s newspaper I noticed something that hasn’t changed.
Unless your looking for a Big Screen TV just about everything thats listed as a door buster black friday sale is Normally priced or reduced by literally $1.00…I mean some items Like the Xbox 250gb console was on sale for $249 which it has been for the past 4 yrs but some stores thru in 2-3 “free” games with it that werent all that expensive.
Is it just me who see’s corporations really don’t care about anyone other than making money and nobody else see’s this I mean when will we as a society wake up the next time they scream profits are down lets cut jobs and close stores because nobody is buying the stuff that they haven’t had a sale on since the 1980’s….
I want to hear your thoughts on this

I truly enjoy reading Rick Riordan’s books they are well written. The leave you feeling a wide range of emotions. From being grief struck to feeling over whelmed with Joy. I loved reading The lightning Thief so very much. I do recommend you read

The Sea of Monsters:Percy Jackson & The Olympians
The Sea of Monsters was a good read. I always enjoy reading a book by Rick Riordan. In this book Percy has come to terms with the fact that he is a Demi god and that his father is Poseidon then boom the big guy decides to switch things up on him. In a way he never expected this book shows how people can grow and over come many different problems.
Rick Riordan never fails to leave you laughing and feeling the action in everything he has written.I really enjoyed reading it and plan on reading book 3 in the series really soon. I

Survival After Hurricane Sandy
Ok so its 7 Days After Sandy hit, No Electric, No Heat nothing and most of Long Island Crippled with little relief in form of shorter gas lines and Some places like the mall open so you can spend 5 hours keeping warm and eating something warm.
Let me tell you Folks there is alot of Devastation out there and This post is not to make light of those who are in dire Straights but In my opinion LIPA has dropped the Ball on this one. If they did not get outside crews in to help it would be easily 1-2 months without power. As it stands now they estimate 10 days as they are focusing on their critical area’s first and the backbone. We haven’t seen a truck in site and mind you in my neighborhood every place around us for 4 blocks in every direction has power out block does not, yet there is nobody assigned to even put up the 2 downed lines in my street to turn our power back on. we aren’t important enough. Mind you no electric means no heat and with a senior citizen living with you I fear her health is getting dangerously low. Sure you can Drive 6 miles to a shelter if you can get in and use the gas specially when there could be a shelter 2 blocks away…But Am I Bitter….Damn Straight…
The Funny thing is cablevision showed up right away to fix out downed cable lines so we can watch tv….but there is no power….Doh!!!
